Writing your college essay

What should the admissions committee know about you that they cannot get from your transcript and test scores? What makes you YOU?
 
It can be hard to put this information into essay form; even capable writers struggle to narrativize their own lives.  With one-on-one tutoring at Skillz you will learn how to write about your life experiences to meet the requirements for college application essay prompts.
 
For each essay, you and the teacher will brainstorm which of your skills and/or experiences would best answer the prompt and produce a detailed outline for your writing.
 
After the private lesson, your writing will then be edited and perfected by the teacher so you can send in your completed application with confidence.
