CV Writing

A curriculum vitae (CV) is an important document that showcases an individual's academic achievements, skills, and experiences. A well-crafted CV can open doors to internships, scholarships, and job opportunities. The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to create a compelling CV. Participants will learn what goes into a CV, how to differentiate between a good and bad CV, explore different structures, and learn to proofread and fine-tune their CVs for maximum impact.

• Identify key elements that go into a CV
• Differentiate between a good and bad CV
• Explore different structures and formats for a CV
• Learn how to proofread and revise the spelling and grammar of a CV
• Determine the appropriate format for their CV
• Write and fine-tune your own CV

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a strong understanding of what goes into a CV and will have created a polished and effective CV that they can use to further their academic and/or professional goals.
